C. Woods Co. was originally established in 1956 by C. A. Woods Jr. The new company with a new name C. WoodsCompany, is now owned and operated by Carey Woods III. It is a mechanical contracting company with a goal to maintain a tradition of quality, excellence and service. Our reputation for “doing it right the first time” is due to our skilled professionals who are highly regarded in the air conditioning, heating and cooling, ventilation and refrigeration industries. HISTORY

In 1956 C. A. Woods Jr., left Bryant Air Conditioning in Tyler , Texas . Mr. Woods was a design engineer for Bryant. When Mr. Woods left Bryant, he founded C. Woods Company in Tyler .

When C. A. Woods Jr's., son Carey A. Woods III, returned from serving his country in the Navy, he purchased JP Morrow Company in Alice, Texas. JP Morrow was a full service Heating and Air Conditioning company. Carey owned and operated JP Morrow Company for over 20 years before selling his business in Alice to return to Tyler and take over C. Woods Company from his retiring Father in 1995. Carey sold the Company to Lennox/Service Experts in December of 1999 and agreed to serve as General Manager. With Carey's help, after a year he was able to revive the company. The year 2000 saw C. Woods as one of the top ten Contractors out of 240. He was then asked by the Lennox Corporation to help revive another struggling office in Corpus Christi, Texas. By the time he was able to get it turned around, the Tyler office was struggling again. So in 2004, Carey bought the company back from Lennox and moved to East Texas, to once again revive C Woods Company.

Carey Woods says, "We're dedicated to quality and service. That's the name of the game. Service is our number one priority. If you don't have that, you don't have anything."
